Who would you be working with?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. I received my Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2017. After completing my Master’s Degree, I spent almost six years working with criminal justice involved clients - from substance abuse to domestic violence offenders. While I learned a lot doing that work, and it was extremely fulfilling to service victims and offenders, I decided in January of 2022 to pursue working for myself within the private practice setting. I utilize primarily Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral techniques in my sessions, as well as being trained in Brainspotting for trauma specific treatment. I strongly believe in the connection between physical health and mental health, and do my best to focus on both aspects within the clients I see. I feel fortunate to be able to hear and share in other's stories and be a part of their journey to wellness.

I am an avid hiker and snowboarder, spending time outside whenever possible. I focus on creating my own work-life balance through making time for the gym several days a week and enjoy signing up for some competitions and races to keep my motivation up and channel my competitive side. I have a dog whom I adore and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I can easily be sucked into a good book or TV series for entertainment. I offer only telehealth sessions after moving to the mountains in 2023, where I am able to take advantage of everything Colorado has to offer.

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
